This little guy is a Copperbud, a little monster of his creation. They’re adorable, okay?

Barioth doodle. :> ‘Nuff said. Took maybe 45 minutes. Maybe less, I kept getting derailed.

45 minute Agnaktor doodle, mostly from memory to get back into the swing of sketches.

I think something similar to this with tighter flats would be what I offered for the sketch stream. O: Because I really enjoy the feel of this and polishing/pushing it is easier than my other methods.

God fucking damn it.

I really liked the idea of a hairless cat Judge.

And I don’t know if anyone else subscribes to the headcannon that the Add-Ons are sort of like Oraphim (the interlocking wheeled angels with eyes and shit.) but with mouths full of needle teeth, but I sure do. Because nothing in that game is as simple as a circle I swear to God.

Process for slime girl, and in fact my painting process for everything. :>

Sketch: Self explanatory. I usually use the brush for basic blocking and tighten up the sketch with the pen tool. Depending on the character/complexity I’ll use different colors too.

Flats: Set sketch to multiply, throw background color on, block in base colors. Slime girl is one solid color, lucky me.

Shadow blocking!: I use another multiply layer and pick whatever color I want my shadows to be and block in shadows. It’s usually really loose and is just to give me an idea.

Highlights: Overlay layer, similar to shadows, but with whatever I use for my lighting color. Usually it’s the complement of the shadows, but on occasion I’ll go more for a more analogous color scheme.

Painting!!: With my color palette laid out I paint on a new layer above all the others. I use a brush still and constantly fuck with the density and color blending to make things look the way I want. I’ll also mark colors on the side for easy reference. This part is usually 2-3 layers, depending on how complex the character is or how many overlapping shapes there are. I usually paint my textures as I go, and slime girl didn’t have any, sorry. :<

Touch ups: Delete sketch layer, fix any mistakes or areas that are now unclear without the sketch layer showing through. This part takes a lot of fu ckin’ time and I hate doing it. Sometimes I’ll just leave the sketch on so I don’t have to fuck with everything.

Final shit: select two colors, paint over everything on separate layer. Then overlay the color and drop the opacity down for a subtle effect. In this case I also did a multiply layer too. Because what the fuck ever I do what I want.
